Calendar search not working on iOS 15.6

To clarify, are you searching within the Calendar app specifically or via the system wide search as outlined in the following article?

• Use Search on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

Also, is this an iCloud or third-party calendar? If you have multiple calendars, do you notice if you're only not getting results for one specific one?

Just to confirm, when you use the Search feature outside of the Calendar app, it works as expected, correct? Check to make sure all groups are enabled in the Calendar app > Calendar. There's more information here: iPhone User Guide

If you haven't done so yet, restart your iPhone, then try searching in the Calendar app again. Sometimes, giving your devices a fresh start can help with unexpected behavior.

Regarding the previous question, we wanted to make sure that search (AKA Spotlight) works to locate things outside of the calendar. So searching for a contact, for example. We just want to ensure the search function itself works.

Is this calendar associated with iCloud? If so, are you able to go to iCloud.com and see if the calendar entries are searchable there?

OK, since you're having issues with iCloud not showing a Calendar app, along with your Outlook events not syncing and showing on your iPhone, the best next step is to contact Apple Support. Let them know what is happening, so they can take a look.

Are these events more than one year in the past? If so, the iOS Calendar will not return them in search results. You'd need to use a third-party calendar app.
