MacOS Big Sur stuck at "Checking Updates" from version 11.6.7 to 11.6.8 and so on.

I recently reinstalled MacOS Big Sur (version 11.6.7) in my iMac, then It got stuck at "Checking Updates" forever. Then, once again, I reinstall the MacOS Big Sur and was able to install the 11.6.8 update. Now, when I get check the updates, it is stuck again at "Checking Updates".

Then I realize that my MacBook with MacOS Big Sur (version 11.6.7) has the same problem. It is stuck at "Checking Updates", but this time I don't want to have to reinstall all the system.

Please help.

Thank You.

Fall back would to Restart in Recovery Mode and choose to reinstall macOS. In theory, it will should pulling down the latest 11.6.8 Big Sur and commence the Installation
