Why is the date complication obfuscated every hour!

How about this for a new feature? On an Apple watch, I can display the date complication next to the "3". However, this presents a bit of an annoyance as it means that every hour, I can't see the date. Believe it or not, sometimes I just need to know the data which is why I add the complication but if it's exactly 15mins past the hour, then I can't see the date.

I am astonished that no one in Apple has complained about this. Surely I can't be the only person that finds this inconvenient?

must differ from watch face to watch face the one I use the date is in the upper corner of the face out of the way of numbers and dial like this

Thanks for the response. I did think about changing the watch face but then we should be able to use which ever face we like without too many compromises. I have submitted a suggestion using the link you provided so thank you very much for that.
