Managing contacts

Hi there.

i have problem like many others. Iphone making multiple copies of contacts for same entry. Also i logged into Icloud. Deleted many contacts but now they have come back on my iphone. It’s very frustrating.

how do i copy all the contacts to one of my Hotmail or gmail account and manage from there. I can then turn off icloud for contacts.

Troubleshooting Duplicate Contacts:

Contact Apple Support:

  1. Go Here: If you See Duplicate Contacts after Setting Up iCloud Contacts - Apple Support
  2. As it Reads: If you see duplicates in Contacts on iCloud.com, visit Apple Support for help.

Apple Contact Info:

  • Contact Us - Choose Locations
  • Proceed from there, as necessary
  • Why the Wait: Phone calls are taking a bit to go through at the moment, due to lots of calls. With the Coronavirus Pandemic, many are at home at the moment, with much time on their hands to contact Apple. So, just stay on the line, and you will get through :)
