How can my PC find the current system used on my new Apple MacBook Pro?

I am trying to copy information from my PC ((Lenovo) to my new MacBook Pro, but there seems to be no connection, even through the network I have both connected to.

The directions say to choose what iOS system is being used on my MacBook Pro, but I have no way of finding out what it is.

Windows, Windows 10

you are not running iOS; Macs run Mac OS.

Go to menu bar, click on Apple , then on About myMac, and it will tell you what version you are running.
