Guided access
If I have turned on guided access and opened the phone app and triple clicked the side button why does guided access not work. I have an iPhone x

Depending on how you setup Guided Access, it might be a double-click instead of a triple-click:
End a Guided Access session
Triple-click the Side or Home button, enter your Guided Access passcode, then tap End. Or if you turned on Touch ID or Face ID for Guided Access, double-click the Side or Home button.
