I changed the email associated with my apple ID, and lost over 10,000 photos on my phone.

I changed the email associated with my apple ID, and over 10,000 photos got deleted off my phone. They are still in icloud, but now my phone is not downloading any of the pictures from my icloud to my phone. Help.

This is a bit silly, but have you logged off from iCloud on your iPhone and logged back in using the new AppleID email?
