How do I get my iPhone 6s out of headphone mode? I’m unable to hear sounds without the headphone

Generally, that means that the headphone jack is damaged. You can try firmly buy carefully inserting and removing a headphone several times to see if it will trip the switch. If it doesn't you'll need to get the phone serviced.
