New Mac Studio says I am connected to my House Wi-Fi, however, webpages will not ope. The screen says they cannot open because it is not connected to the internet.

I have had a lot of problems starting up this new Mac Studio M1 Ultra. I've had to work through a lot of problems that could have been circumvented by better directions.

My latest startup problem is webpages are telling me I am not connected to my House Wi-Fi. When I click on the Wi-Fi tab in the upper menu bar, it tells me I am connected to the House Wi-Fi. However, as I said, webpages (i.e., Safari) says "You are not connected to the internet! What gives?

Thanks.

Open a browser and type

1.1.1.1

into the address/search bar.

If you get the CloudFlare* splash page, your Internet is working, your Domain Name Server (DNS) is not working.

*CloudFlare is NOT part of the solution, they just have the simplest-to-remember numeric IP address that always answers with a web page.
