Password Issue

I can’t download or update apps after changing my Apple ID password. Every time I enter the new password it fails to work.

App store not accepting my Apple ID password. I have reset my password a few times and still, the App store tells me my Apple ID's password is incorrect so I cannot download new apps. System settings shows the new password on all my devices. I signed into Apple.com with it too. I do not understand. I'm a Mac user since 1983 and usually have no difficulty troubleshooting problems. It started when Apple updated my phone and turned on the theft protection software which is now off.

changed password on app store now cant sign in I have this morning changed my Apple ID password when going into App Store it comes up saying enter password to install app with I do but it won't acknowledge the password and then asks for it again and doesn't install I have changed it 3 times thinking it was the password but still happening
