Is there any disadvantage to using one copy of FCP X on a dual-boot Mac?

On my iMac's Big Sur OS I have created a volume to boot into Monterey.

All my apps are on the original Big Sur volume but I can access them when in Monterey.

Is there any disadvantage to using them in this way or would it better to have separate copies on the Monterey volume?

I haven’t found any. That said, I do usually use separate copies on each volume.
