"how to turn off do not disturb notifications"

Hi

I have discovered how to automatically silence my iPhone between 19:00 and 7:00. That's a nice idea.

However, I keep getting notifications on my Mac that Do not disturb is on, often long after 7:00.

Does anyone know how I turn off the do not disturb notifications? I don't want them to show on my Mac.

I think it may have something to do with Focus, but unfortunately the explanation for Focus is very poor.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks PP

You have got that last bit only half right. Should be "I never assume anything because that makes an *** [i.e. donkey-horse, not a swear word] out of you [u] and me - ***-u-me.

So true - and still makes me laugh!

That link gives a very decent explanation of how to operate/set/adjust Focus and Do not Disturb.

But it focuses so extensively on settings that it forgets to explain the basics and is not clear quite how they work.

e.g. Is there an overall "do not disturb" setting, or does one has to set every app individually? What does Focus actually do? What is the difference between Focus and "do not disturb"? And if I have "do not disturb" set on my iphone, how do I get my Mac to ignore it? How can one see what one's settings are without diving down the never ending list of menus? In the end, focus & do not disturb seem so complex and confusing as to be almost pointless.

But thanks for the link.
