iPod Nano not restorable on M1 Mac and not recognisable by iTunes on Win11 on Parallels Desktop. Stuck in erases state.

Hi community,

My iPod nano 6th gen. got stuck in erased state which doesn't bring up any user interface after trying to restore it in Monterey on M1 mac mini.

I learn't i need to disable disk mode so i tried to do it on windows 11 in parallels on the same mac but iTunes says the iPod is not supported on this version of windows.

I miss my radio.

What do I do?

Thanks.

Neerav

Hello AceNeerav,

The only option left from here is to try and force it to restart while it's plugged in to see if different options appear for you: Learn how to force restart your iPod - Apple Support

If you still are having issues, reach out to Apple directly: Get Support

Be sure to keep in mind that the iPod nano (6th generation) is considered obsolete and service options may be limited: Obtaining service for your Apple product after an expired warranty - Apple Support

Take care for now.
