iPhone 12 Battery discharging fast all of a sudden

My iPhone 12 is around a year and a half old and is at 85% Battery Health. Yesterday, I suddenly received multiple Low Battery notifications as well as the battery discharging fast. I tried restarting and not using the iPhone but this morning, I used it for a few minutes and it discharged 10% of the battery even without location and background refresh. Brightness is also low. Was wondering if anyone has this experience and if this is a possible software issue? Thanks!

Hello,

Taking a look at the battery tab in settings would give you a pretty good idea of what is eating up the battery. If you have any questions as to why something you found would be killing the battery feel free to reply!

Thanks! It says Safari has been eating up my battery, it registered 20 minutes on screen and 9% of battery discharge. Was wondering why the battery discharge seemed to be a lot faster than 2 days ago?

No problem!

For safari it all depends on what websites you were visiting as some websites use more resources than others.

If you continue having issues reaching out to apple support for help may not be a bad idea, they should be able to diagnose any battery issue you are having.
