key commands for powering up a second display?
My display has stopped working on my MacBook Pro. Also the touch strip above the key board doesn’t work. Does anyone know the key commands for powering up a second display?

You can try —
M1 SoC - SMC reset equivalent is: Shut down, close the lid 30 secs+ , reboot as normal
no resolve—Try a SafeBoot How to use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support to sort anomalies.
For an external monitor—plug it in restart if necessary.
Connect a display to your Mac - Apple Support
If it is a GPU failure the external monitor will not work
If it is isolated to a internal Display alone, then GPU would still be functional...
In or out of warranty you can get a free over the counter 'Apple Service Diagnostics' test /assessment
Make an appointment for a "hardware issue"
