Recover eMails through Backup Restoration:

If eMails are coming back, then there is obviously a server issue on Apple's end --nothing you can do about it on your part. However, if you ever backed up a device, then you could...

  1. Disable: your router
  2. Backup: your Mac
  3. Restore: your Mac from a backup with these eMails
  4. Export: the eMails as a backup
  5. Restore: your Mac the backup you just created in step (2)
  6. Import: the emails from email backup you just created in step (4)

All would then exist, being imported back. By disabling the router, you are avoiding emails from being deleted by not syncing with the server.
