I tried using an eSIM in my XS iPhone - it could receive calls but not make them. Has anyone else had that problem? Thanks

If you can't make or receive calls on your iPhone - Apple Support
Settings>general>reset>reset network settings.
If you see No Service or Searching on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

No. I have not had that problem.
Whom to Contact:
Contact your Carrier, as they are one who provide you with the service of configuring your eSIM card.
So 'Reset Network Settings' won't erase anything on the phone?
