My iPhone, just like other posts I've seen, gets stuck syncing over wifi to my Mac. I can't restart or shutdown my Mac. When I right click to eject the iPhone it doesn't do anything. When I plug the iPhone into my Mac and look at it with iTunes it shows it is syncing, but never finishes and sits there stuck.

Only if you have an iPhone 12 or 13 or SE 3rd gen with a 5G connection you can use over the 5G network.

I guess I'm confused. My iPhone syncing over wifi is the issue. I am not syncing over my cellular network service. My phone is an iPhone 11 so is not on 5G network either.
I think what happens is that it may start syncing then I leave the house with my phone and my computer becomes stuck trying to sync and can't and the only way to stop it is to force restart by holding the power button down.
Wifi is connected and green. No issues there on either my Mac or iPhone.
