We understand you're noticing UK magazines in News+ despite your region being set to the US. We'd be happy to help you out. While this could be normal, since UK magazines are still available while set to the US region, you should still see US magazines available too.
So that we can isolate things further, we'd suggest further ensuring both your Apple ID country/region is set to US and your language and region of your Mac is set to English (US). For help with doing so from your Mac, check out these steps:
- "Open the Music app or iTunes.
- In the menu bar at the top of the screen or the top of the iTunes window, click Account, then click View My Account.
- Sign in with your Apple ID.
- On the Account Information page, click Change Country or Region.
- Select your new country or region.
- Review the Terms & Conditions, then click Agree. Click Agree again to confirm.
- Enter your new payment information* and billing address, then click Continue."

Next, to check your Mac's language and region settings, go to > System Preferences > Language & Region and ensuring English (US) is selected along with United States for the region.
