itunes cannot read contents of the iphone

Today i decided to backup my iphones (11 pro & 13) on my computer & suddenly i get this error message that itunes cannot read the contents of the iphone.

I didn't jailbreak my iphones. Have re-installed itunes, updated to the latest version (12.12.4.1), my ios is 15.5, re-booted my iphone, but it doesn't solve the issue.

I do not want to restore my phone to factory settings...

Does anyone has a solution to this?
