How can I use FCP as a monitor for my iPhone

I'd like to use FCP (10.6.2) on my mid-2015 MB Pro (Monterey 12.4) as a monitor for my iPhone 13 Pro Max (iOS 15.5).

How can I do it? Or should I use another app?

Record video into Final Cut Pro - Apple Support

This article purports to show how to record live video and audio into Final Cut Pro but it says to connect camera to laptop via Firewire. My MB Pro doesn't have a FW port. I'm connected via USB. No live image has appeared in the Media Import window. I'm a bit dazed and confused.

Any ideas?
