Bought an XS. The owner had not removed the apple ID and the phone is locked to owner. I bought an iPhone XS in 2019. However when I wanted to use it, there is a message telling that the iphone locked to owner. So I kept it aside. I don’t know who the original owner is. This phone is not blacklisted or anything either. So I need to use this phone now since I bought it. What can I do? I paid quite a lot for this phone. So don’t want to go it to waste.

No, Apple cannot help you contact the owner.

If the device is activation locked and you cannot reach the owner, there is nothing you can do
