How to delete multiple contacts

How are you managing your contacts, iCloud, an email account? I ask since it would allow you to manage those from a computer and handle deleting multiple contacts. That is not an option on the iPhone. With iCloud, you can log in on the computer and then select multiple contacts, then select the gear in the bottom left and select Delete.
