I have been playing Candy Crush on my ipad for ages and suddenly I get a communication error (only with in the game) I can log in and use it on my phone, but not my ipad. My ipad can connect to everything else including internet and emails, just not to my account with in the game. Very strange as I am over level 8000 and would not want to start again. I have tried rebooting and I have plenty of storage. Any Advise?

basic troubleshooting is to reboot your ipad to see if that helps

I'm answering my own question. I deleted and reloaded the App. it now works - just lost a few levels and all my rewards - better than losing the whole game. :)
