Backed up to iMac and devices still showing need to purchase space in iCloud, why

Backed up account to my iMac desktop, devices now show huge backup and requesting I buy space in iCloud, I already backed them up, how do I remove back up data amount off devices?

iPhone XS, iOS 15

on the iPhone it shows a 2.5gb backup, I backed up on the computer, how do I get this off the phone?
