Pasting a password no longer works

On my iPhone ios 15.5 I can no longer paste in passwords to apps or websites from my password manager. This is highly frustrating as they are long so would take forever to write in. It was working perfectly previously.

As noted above I am trying to paste a password from my password manager. It only doesn’t allow me to paste on my iPhone into a password block whether on chrome or even the iPhone’s own password manager.

I have not experienced it on either of our 2 iPhones, 2 iPads, or 3 Macs. And I have the latest updates on all of them.

But have you checked that you successfully copied the password you want to paste, by pasting INTO into a text box? I know that some password managers will clear the clipboard when you exit the app.

And does it happen with all apps, as well as web pages, or only some apps? There are some apps that won’t let you paste passwords.
