iPhone: How long does cut or copied text stay in the clipboard?

This was asked in 2019 (with over 400 ppl responding “Me Too”), yet there is still seemingly no concrete resolution to the issue.

Simple Question:

After you “Cut” or “Copy” text on an iPhone, how long does it remain saved in the clipboard in order to “Paste” the text elsewhere?

(To be clear, I am not referring to pasting content on another device. This is simply regarding cut/copy and then paste on one individual iPhone device.)

In theory like a Mac, it would stay on the iPhone until you "cut" something else, or the iPhone is powered off. In practice, I don't know.
