VO2 Max Measurement stopped - Apple Watch OS 8.6

Hi, my Apple Watch stopped measuring my VO2 Max. I go running several times every week using Nike Run Club on my Apple Watch Series 6, and since end of June it doesn’t measure it anymore.

Any idea what might be wrong?

Apple watch VO2 max measurement dropping like a rock I am struggling to under the VO2 max readings on my Apple Watch. I work out daily with very little change in the weekly routine. But the VO2 values are dropping like a rock - down nearly 20% (from 39 to 33) in the last 6 weeks. So 4 or 5 Outdoor Walks on the same path/loop each week where Workout App measures the values. All are for a duration of 50-60 minutes. All with an average pace of ~14 miles per hour. Heart rate pretty constant in the 125-135 BPM range. These workouts don't vary by 5%. Yet the VO2 max is dropping each time. I just don't get it. Anyone have any ideas? It is an Apple Watch 7, Watch OS 10.3.1, using a tight fitting sports band. Tim

Fixing VO2 Max on Apple Watch The VO2 max result on my Apple Watch is wildly inaccurate. I am a semi-professional cyclist and martial artist and my VO2 max in a sports lab setting is around 60+. My Apple Watch continually returns a result of 40 or so. I had hoped to do less in-lab testing as I prepare for events and measure my fitness/readiness-- it's why I bought the watch in the first place. It seems like the Apple Watch isn't able to perform this function reliably. Does anyone have a fix? I've tried the walk/run calibration and the watch will give me a ~40 VO2 max result while my own measurement will always return 55+. Should I resell and get a Garmin?

Apple Watch no longer count kcal in activity So I have had my watch for about 2-3 years no and have loved it from the first time - until recently. I am a runner and always record both indoor and outdoor running on my watch. But something has happened. No I can register a 6 kilometer run for 30 minutes but when I am finished the watch says 0 active kcal. This also happens in other activities and normal usage, that the watch either doesn’t count active kcal OR only count active kcal but does not add the rating kcal to the total kcal. I have tried EVERYTHING there is but I guess the watch is just broken and Apple doesn’t want their products to last longer than 3 years?!
