Problems with Private Relay and Safari

I'm using a 2021 MBP 16" running Monterey 12.4 and Safari 15.5. Has anybody else found issues with very slow, or non access to certain web pages with PR turned on that can be sorted out temporarily by restarting Safari. These issues return quite soon, but can be eliminated by turning off PR. I notice this particularly with eBay, but Safari is noticeably snappier with PR off.

How can I fix Private Relay causing slow browsing on MacBook Air? Private Relay slowing speed of my browsing. Very visible. Even google.com services are almost impossible to use with Private Relay turned on. Why? Problem started 2-3 months ago, and it appears from time to time. Like once/twice a week... Safari Can't Connect to iCloud Private Relay Hey everyone, I know that this topic has already been discussed here but the fix doesn't seem to work for me. I've been using Private Relay for a long time now and there has never been a problem with Safari on Mac. For the last couple of days I can't connect to any websites anymore when Private Relay is turned on. I restarted Safari but to no effect. Only turning off Private Relay helps. I'm on the latest MacOS version. Thanks for your help.

Hi terrymacsurfer,

Private Relay was designed to maintain high-performance while using Safari. However, Apple has noted that some websites, networks, or services may need to make updates for Private Relay and that turning off Private Relay temporarily may be the best option.
