Play AppleTV Audio on RCA Speakers
I have an Apple TV 4K. Not S/PDIF port on the back. I would like to output Audio to an external set of speakers on my patio. For these I only have a pair of RCA plugs.

I got this one:

But I don't get any audio, I will return that one to try a different one. Also my speakers doesn’t have any volume control. How I am supposed to control that feature.
Do these speakers have an internal amplifier? If not, then they’re meant to be connected to a separate amplifier/receiver, which would control the volume.

or

It looks like someone in another thread seems to have figured this out
You can use an HDMI Audio Extractor to get RCA or S/PDIF output ports from the HDMI signal.
Verify that it supports 4K (HDMI 2.0/HDCP 2.2) video passthrough if you need that functionality.
