I have forgotten a password in numbers

I assume that you are talking about the password to open a protected Numbers file.
Did you activate "Open with Touch ID" ?
If not that you have to play around with the passwords that you would normally use.
There is not list for Numbers passwords!
Therefore a Hint is always a good idea.
