Using delays ("wait") in HomeKit

Here is what I am attempting to do. I want to have a script / automation / shortcut (I still am not good with HomeKit jargon) that will do something like this:

I say "Hey Siri good morning"

Siri reads my calendar

HomeKit turns on my bedroom lights.

WAIT 15 SECONDS

HomeKit turns on living room floor lamps.

WAIT 20 SECONDS

HomeKit turns on dining room lamps.

I have watched various YouTube videos and the explanations in many of them are so poorly explained I am tearing my beard out in clumps with frustration. I need to get part way into an automation or scene then turn it into a shortcut, then this, then that... I am lost. I can do this in Alexa and in Habitat without breaking a sweat, but HomeKit has me defeated/

Does someone on here a) understand my question, and b) can tell me step by step what I need to do?
