The left shift key on the mac types “5” and the right shift key mutes the mac.

Tried that a few times...5I still have the problem. 5I am leaving this en-edited to show what 5I'm seeing with this problem.
Also, the right shift key 5Mutes/5Unmutes the 5Mac.

Is there any accidental or liquid damage to this keyboard? Was anything updated or changed when this started occurring?
Also, would you have another keyboard you can try? If you personally do not have another keyboard, see if you can borrow a friend or family member's keyboard to help us isolate the issue.

No, not aware of any exposure to liquids...it was working fine until yesterday morning when it started acting funny.
I am now using a keyboard borrowed from a neighbor...and, not having problems.
