Kindle app closing?

My Kindle App will not stay open on my phone! Last update was a week ago! Help???

Kindle app not working on ipad Yesterday evening when I went to open kindle app it opened and then closed out of it. I restarted the iPad and updated it. It is still doing the same thing. My kindle app is v.7.0 and iOS is 17.2
