How to turn off siri suggestions?

I'm getting siri suggestions for duolingo about 50 times a day. At certain times of day they are every 5 minutes.

I've gone into the duolingo app settings and turned off all app notifications, but I am still getting the "siri suggestion" for it constantly. How do I stop them?
