How to know if a serial number of AirPods is original or not?

A friend of mine has this Airpods Pro with this  Serial # H2**********059 on the box and he wants to sell it to me for a low price. Reason- needs the money so badly. I just want to ask, if this serial number of AirPods pro is original or not? Because the box and the AirPods themselves look original.
