So we're supposed to unplug and replug our monitor every time the computer goes to sleep?

This seems to be a common problem yet there is no resolution... I continuously have to un then re plug in my monitor. What a JOKE! Had a 2021 Mac Book Pro, and recently upgraded to a 2022.... just awful. Anyone have any better workarounds?

I have the same issue. I have a brand new 16" MacBook Pro with M1 Max running Monterey 12.4 with two LG LF32TU87 Displays daisy-chained via Thunderbolt3. The two displays are each in landscape orientation, but randomly switch which one is on the left when my Macbook returns from sleep mode.

The current stable release of Monterey including bug fixes, is macOS 12.4 — I would start there.
