AirPods case (top part) stuck on lid.

What should I do if my AirPods case won’t come off? Not the bottom part, but rather the top?

Hi there

I'm sorry to hear your having problems.

Wow, that must be really on there, there are a handful of ways you could take this off,

  • have you tried pulling at the back so the lid doesn't flip up
  • have you tried opening the top and inserting a plastic pic/plastic tool in between the seem/gap of the Airpods and the case
  • last resort and its up to you, do you have a vice/vise? wrap a thick fabric/cloth where the AirPods have no case so not to scratch the case. and insert it into the vice/vase, with the top of the AirPods case free from where it will clamp , begin clamping, you must judge how much pressure you want to apply. then once you believe you have them comfortabley clamped try pull the top case off, you can also use a plastic pic/plastic tool to try help it get free/loose. - This should only be done as a Last Last Last Resort if the case doesn't even budge after trying a plethora of otherways to get it off.

I Hope this helps!
