Family sharing issue - iCloud storage

I've recently subscribed to iCloud Drive and set up family sharing for my wife and daughter. My wife was already sharing so she got set up no problem. To invite my daughter, I sent her an invitation via SMS. She accepted the invitation and she show's on my MacBook as being a party to my Family Sharing and it says that she has access to iCloud Storage. Except that she doesn't! On her phone Settings / her name it says next to iCloud 5 GB whereas it should say 2 TB - as my and my wife's does. She's tried turning her phone off and restarting but nothing changes.

Hello Jayseedy,

Thanks for posting in the Apple Support Communities.

Let's check to see if your daughter need to adjust the setting to use the shared iCloud+ storage plan to see if that's the cause. In addition, confirm that the same Apple ID is signed in on the iPhone that is showing as register with your Family Sharing plan.

To check the settings on her iPhone, take a look at the information below. You can also locate this along with more details here: Share iCloud+ with your family - Apple Support

On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

1. Go to Settings > [your name].
2. Tap Family Sharing, then tap iCloud+.
3. Tap Use Family Storage.

We hope that's able to help but if not, confirm that the same Apple ID is signed in on the iPhone for Family Sharing and let us know if the setting above is available or not.

Have a great day!
