How to get my iTunes music into Apple Music

I can't access my iTunes music (everything I uploaded, on my MacBook Air, from my purchased CD's about 3 years ago - before I gave all the cds away, and before Apple Music).

I have an old iMac that can still access everything, but when I log into iTunes/Music on my MacBookAir (same log in, same password), there's no music there. Help please...

Is the "Sync Library" option turned on, on both computers in the app menu->Preferences->General in iTunes and the Music App.

Apple Music requires that option to both match/upload from a source library and to make it available on a different computer.

You need to be subscribed to Apple Music monthly service or iTunes Match monthly service for that to work and appear as on option there

If you are not subscribed to either, then you need to move the iTunes library from the old computer to the new one manually:

Clarification to my original submission: I can see all my uploaded songs on Music v.1.0.6.10, but nothing on Music v.1.2.4.3. At this point I'm afraid to upgrade my iMac to Monterey (from Catalina) as I'm guessing I'll loose everything I have access to now. (Note: Last time I worked on this, both my MacBook Air and iMac were updated on Catalina)
