System Update cannot find the latest Monterey OS update

System update looks and looks, but never finds the latest update.

Ideas?

As previous posting indicated the Safe Mode seems to work better.

Aside, am seeing this issue rearing its ugly head too often, in the last few days.

No explanation for this.

Just out of interest - what does the user see in the Terminal output of below command

softwareupdate -l  That is hyphen and lower case L as in Love.

This command will only search for Qualifying updates and nothing more

I tried again in safe mode as indicated for the Intel processor.

When restarting with the Shift Key down, I got to the login window, but never saw "Safe Boot" in the upper right hand corner.

Went to the App Store and selected Monterey, it opened Software update and downloaded.

One 'glitch', after downloading and attempting an install, I got the dreaded 0 with a slash thru it.

Hitting Return caused it to reboot again.

3 reboots later, I'm finally at the latest version of Monterey 12.4
