There is no maximum wattage power adapter that you can use with an iPhone. 5 watt is OK, so is 20 watt, so is 96 watt. The phone won't draw more power than it is designed to. If you want to Fast Charge, you need a minimum of 18 watts. See: Fast charge your iPhone - Apple Support
