I opened a different .musiclibrary file, now I cant open my original library.

Im running Monterey and opened a different .musiclibrary folder as I want to see what was in my other .musiclibrary files. When I was converting my .itl files when i got my new mac I made a few that all shared the generic name "musiclibrary". When I tried to open up any of the other "musiclibrary" files the exact same library would open - though, not the same one i've been using for the past 6 months.

I renamed all of my .musiclibrary files so they have individual names as I thought the music app might be getting confused (even though it shouldn't because they are different files that share the same name). Now, a couple of my .musiclibrary files will open completely empty and none of them open the library that I was using only an hour ago.

Super weird and scary - feel like an idiot right now because I have not been backing up my computer. Anyone know whats going on? Thanks.

You must use the hold down option as you launch Music method to select a different .musiclibrary database. Double-clicking the file will open Music with the last database that it opened, not necessarily the file that you clicked on.
