Hi, whenever I try to send an email to someone selecting as sender "Hide my email", Mac Mail crashes. Anybody encountered a similar issue?

Hi gillux,

Are all of your settings for Hide My Email set up correctly? The article here and information quoted below can help you double-check.

"Set up and use Hide My Email on your Mac

Your device must have macOS Monterey 12 or later.

  1. On your Mac, choose Apple menu  > System Preferences.
  2. Make sure you’re signed in with your Apple ID. If you are, you see your name at the top of System Preferences. If you don’t see your name, click the Sign In button.
  3. To keep your personal email address private, do any of the following:
    • In Safari: Open a website, click in an email field, then click Hide My Email to generate a new random email address or use one you’ve already created for the website.
    • In Mail: (macOS Monterey 12.1 or later) Open a new message window. In the From field, choose Hide My Email in the pop-up menu.
    • In System Preferences: Click Apple ID, click iCloud in the sidebar, then click Options next to Hide My Email. You can see and manage all your unique, random addresses."

If all settings are correct, test sending from the iCloud website or in a new user account.

"On a computer: Use Hide My Email in Mail on iCloud.com and Create and edit Hide My Email addresses on iCloud.com"
