Sorry, they are gone, unless you might have been backing up your phone to your Mac regularly....and.....you were also using Time Machine on the Mac to back up the Mac......(which included the backups of the phone).

In that case, you could go back using Time Machine to the time when the messages were backed up and then use the iPhone backup of that date to restore the data on your phone.
