iMovie Magic movie clips | Why reverse chronological order?

Can someone explain why Magic Movie iphone/iPad puts all clips in reverse chronological order? My primary use case for this feature is to quickly assemble a video of a birthday party or vacation or event just by dumping a bunch of clips into it and letting the AI trim them and do the music and transitions. When I do this - the film starts at the end and works back… magic movie is so nearly the ‘memories’ that apple killed after iOS 14 but this element makes it unusable

This is a consumer forum, so we don't have control of or input into Apple's software decisions or engineering.

But, yeah, I can see that reverse chronological order playing of Magic Movie clips would be a major glitch. Hopefully the folks on the iOS iMovie forum will have some helpful suggestions. Maybe its just a setting or a sorting feature issue. Anyway, good luck with this.
