Sound from my MacBook Pro speakers sound distorted
The sound from my speakers in my 2015 MacBook Pro sounds distorted.

If you feel your Mac is malfunctioning, take it back to Apple for evaluation. If no longer covered by any warranty (AppleCare +), repairs will be at your expense.
Actually, this is not an uncommon complaint. Small speakers enclosed in a small space does not make for especially high quality sound. And on a 7 year old Mac I'd expect some deterioration under the best of circumstances
