Voice memos abnormal storage use

Hi , so i used the voice memos app to record some of my lessons which were 1 hour long or so but i did delete them , i deleted them from the recently deleled too but if i go to check the storage it still says 65 GB are used by "documents and data" i've seen other questions about this subject but none had an answer

I try to delete the app and still the same problem it concludes the same storage. The voice memos is not linked to ICloud. What shall I do to free the space of voice memos?

Voice Memo - Documents & Data Hi, My voice memo is only 22.8 MB. But it came to my attention that my documents & data are 55.94gb which this never happen to me before. There are no deleted Voice memos. I only have 18 recordings and the longest one is only 3 minutes. The rest is below than 1 minute. My last recording was 2021, but when i check my iphone storage, last use was in June 2022. I'm so confused.

Voice Memo Disappeared but Storage shows 1.3GB of Voice Memo Data I have recently discovered that most of the voice memo recordings have disappeared from my iPhone after I turned off iCloud (Previously I turned iCloud Backup on for a short duration for a phone switch. I do not need iCloud subscription since I've enough storage on my device). All of my voice memos are and should be stored in local iPhone storage. Currently, I see only last 2 voice memos). However, under Settings => iPhone Storage, it shows that Voice Memo app occupies 1.3 GB (see attached) of Data. But I am not able to find all but last 2 recordings in the app. There is no 'Recently deleted folder either (I've never deleted anything). So where can I find these recordings that are stored on 1.3GB of iPhone storage? Or, Is it possibly there anywhere on iCloud since I disabled iCloud less than 30 days back?'Document & Data" under iPhone Storage Voice Memo app

Restart the device. That's it.

I have the same maddening problem with voice memo ghost data haunting my phone. I Updated to latest iOS and disabled voice memo from iCloud, this may be working, hard to tell in fact. However it is still showing 238GB data use on the storage list

Also please disable Voice Memo from iCloud.
