I cant enter my password to my Mac

For some reason, I can't log in to my Mac. I can write my password there, but even though I'm sure I entered my password correctly, it will show me that I entered my password incorrectly. I'm a little worried that I have a virus on my computer, because it started to happen to me right after I downloaded a new application (Sublime text). I would really appreciate some advice. Thank you
