Data Transfer

Hi, I will be getting a new phone this week and just wondering if I can use my old Apple Id to my new device but doesn't want to transfer all my other data. Is that possible? Thanks

If you don't want to transfer the data to your new phone, do not restore from a backup or turn iCloud syncing on.
